1. INTRODUCTION 

At www.bulsingwines.com, we respect your confidential personal data and we are committed to protecting it.

This Privacy Policy sets out the basis which BulSing Wines and its related companies (“BulSing” or “we”) may collect, disclose, use, or otherwise process the personal data collected about you via www.bulsingwines.com (the “Website”) in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012, any regulations enacted thereunder and any guidelines that may be issued from time to time by the Personal Data Protection Commission (collectively, the “PDPA”). 

By using the Website and any services offered via the Website, you hereby accept our terms and conditions, and consent to the collection and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

2. PURPOSES FOR COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data we collect, use, disclose and/or process may include your name, NRIC, age, date of birth, address(es), credit or debit card details (including your credit card number, billing address and expiry date), email address, telephone number as well as your username and password for your account with the Website, (the “personal data”). 

We use the personal data that we collect from you to: 

i. provide information; 

ii. verify your identity;

iii. process your purchase order(s); 

iv. contact you via email, mail, SMS or phone, to fulfil your requests;

v. answer your enquiries; 

vi. manage your membership account; 

vii. identify personal preferences and match your needs with relevant products and services; 

viii. contact and send you information about our products and services, events or promotions; 

ix. obtain your views or comments on the services we provide; and 

x. where applicable, for any purposes which might be legally required of us. 

We understand and value the importance of privacy and will protect your personal data while it is in our care. We do not trade, sell, rent or share crucial personal data to any third party(ies) without your expressed permission, except to the extent to allow third party(ies) to provide you with requested services or that is necessary to comply with any relevant Singapore government regulators, statutory bodies or authority(ies) or Singapore law enforcement agencies to comply with any such law, rules, schemes or regulations or in legal proceedings where such information is relevant, or to any other party(ies) to whom you authorize us to disclose your personal data. 

Where we disclose your personal data to third party(ies) with your consent, we will employ our best efforts to require such party(ies) to protect your personal data. 

3. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA 

To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate measures such as encryption to secure all storage and transmission of personal data by us and disclosing personal data both internally and to authorized third party(ies) only on a need-to-know basis.

However, as no method of transmission over the Internet, or electronic storage is completely secure, we are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures to ensure your personal data is protected.

5. BulSing Wines WINES MEMBERS

To qualify as our member, we will need to collect your personal data for the purpose of sending your purchased wines to you and promotional materials including exclusive invites to our events, special treats on your birthday and timely updates on our attractive promotions via email, SMS and/or mail. 

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving your member and birthday privileges, you can click on the unsubscribe link in the emails or write in to office@bulsingwines.com. 

6. SPECIAL OFFERS

To subscribe to our mailing list and be informed of our attractive promotions and events, we will need to collect your personal data such as name and email address. At any point should you wish to unsubscribe from receiving these promotional materials via email, SMS and/or mail, you can click on the unsubscribe link in the emails or write in to office@bulsingwines.com. 

7. LINKS

We may provide links to third party(ies) websites which we think offer useful content to our visitors. We have no control over the contents and make no representation as to the accuracy or any other aspect of information contained in other websites, nor are we responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites.

8. ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA  

If you wish to access a copy of your personal data, or alternatively the details about the ways in which your personal data is used and/or disclosed, you may submit a request (“Access Request”) in writing via email to our Data Protection Officer. 

We will respond to your Access Request as soon as we can, but in any case no later than 30 days from the day our Data Protection Officer receives your Access Request. If we are unable to accede to your Access Request, we will inform you of the reasons why unless we are not required to do so under the PDPA. Please note that a reasonable fee may be charged for an Access Request. We will inform you of the fee before processing your Access Request.

9. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA 

We may retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws. 

We will cease to retain your personal data or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

We will also put in place measures such that your personal data in our possession or under our control is destroyed and/or anonymized as soon as it is reasonable to assume that (i) the purpose for which that personal data was collected is no longer being served by the retention of such personal data, and (ii) retention is no longer necessary for any such legal or other business purposes. 

10. UPDATING PERSONAL DATA

We rely on the personal data that you have provided to render our services to you. In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete and accurate, you may simply log into your registered account and make the relevant changes. If you no longer desire our service, you may request for your personal data to be removed by emailing us at office@bulsingwines.com. 

11. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

If you wish to withdraw your consent to our collection of your personal data, you must inform our Data Protection Officer in writing by email at office@bulsingwines.com(“Email Notification”). No other method of withdrawal of consent will be accepted as a valid notification of our Data Protection Officer.

Upon receipt of your Email Notification, we will require 14 days for your request to be processed. Please note that withdrawing your consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclosure without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws, rules or regulations.

12. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE SINGAPORE 

We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore unless specifically instructed by you and/or where necessary in the course of the provision of our services. 

Where we transfer your personal data outside Singapore, we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.

13. EFFECT OF PRIVACY POLICY AND CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY  

This Privacy Policy applies in conjunction with any other terms and conditions, notices, contractual or consent clauses that apply in relation to your personal data.

As part of our efforts to ensure that we properly manage, protect and process your personal data, we will be reviewing our policies, procedures and processes from time to time, and may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time without any prior notice. You may determine if any such revision has taken place by referring to the date on which this Privacy Policy was last updated. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of such changes.
